The previous impression on the printer was the laser printer used to print A4 paper. Common brands include HP and EPSON.

However, when I was working on a hospital project recently, I realized that large organizations such as the hospital had many printer types according to different business needs.

In addition to common office laser printers, printers recently used include:

(1) dot matrix printer:

It is mainly used to print various types of invoices, such as self-payment invoices and medical insurance settlement invoices.
I didn't know much about it before. Why do I have to use a dot matrix printer to print the invoice and a laser printer to print the invoice? Why do I have to use a dot matrix printer to print the invoice at a frame by frame.

Later I learned that the invoice is usually printed in two or three copies. In this way, only one copy can be printed at a time. However, if you use a dot matrix printer to print each word, because each word is printed with a needle, just like writing, every word is written by yourself. (2) thermal printer:

In the hospital, thermal printers are mainly used to print the Registration Wizard and the drug retrieval wizard.
If you are in a restaurant, the customer's ordering details and corresponding bills are usually printed.

This printer uses a narrow area of paper, which is usually printed as a small piece of paper. The font size and line spacing can be set in advance. When printing, call the printer interface to print the corresponding content according to the template.

(3) bar code printer:

In hospitals, bar code printers are generally used to print various bar codes. For example, blood samples, body fluid specimens, and pathological specimens.
During the health check, when we have drawn blood, we will also mount the corresponding bar code on the outer wall of the tube. The bar code is generally divided into two parts:
1. Some are rectangular strips of the middle thickness;
2. The other part is more detailed text information.

Rectangular strips of width and width. If you use a special barcode scanner, you can read a string of numbers represented by these codes. This number is usually the ID of the specimen represented by this canal.
