Tomcat cannot automatically compile JSP files

Today, a very strange problem, the machine environment is JDK8, TOMCAT8, the jquery miniui (for Java Eclipse) downloaded into Eclipse, the first page can be displayed, but run the Operation database page error. Create a new simple JSP page under the project, and find that it is not working, and there is an error message:

Org.apache.jasper.JasperException:Unable to compile class for JSP, that is, the JSP file cannot be compiled.

Also found a solution on the Internet, several attempts, finally solved.

To remove Servlet-api.jar from the Webcontent\web-inf\lib directory of the jquery miniui (for Java Eclipse) project, restart Tomcat8.

The reason should be that jquery miniui (for Java Eclipse) was developed with a lower version of Tomcat, which is incompatible with the new version of the Servlet-api.jar file under the project Lib.
