The file manager Nautilus in Ubuntu provides simple and comprehensive file and application management methods.
Features of Nautilus
The Nautilus File Manager allows you to organize files by folder and perform the following tasks:
Create and display folders and documents: Create new files, organize files by folders, and save files.
Search and manage your files: classify the files and search by category.
Open a special location on your computer: access the local network and save your files.
Write Data to CD or DVD
Use two modes of Navigation:
SPACE mode: allows you to open various folders in the split window. This will help you open files with physical objects in different locations. You can view the contents of each folder at the same time.
Browsing mode: Open your folder in a Single Window. Open only one file manager in browser mode. When you click another folder in File Manager, its content is updated.

Nautilus
Process 6.8. Select the desired mode:
ClickLocationThe following items are displayed:
Main Folder :.This is a private folder created by default for each user, allowing users to create and process files. By default, the username is used.
Desktop :.Activity components that are placed behind all screens of your computer provide easy and convenient access to files stored on the desktop.
COMPUTER :.Includes all drives and file systems, making it easy to back up documents to CD and DVD.
CD/DVD Creator :.It consists of folders that you can write data to a CD or DVD. You can also back up your documents to a CD or DVD.
InLocationClick any of the above items in the menu.
