Method 1: Use the update Manager
Enter at the terminal:
Update-manager-devel-release
Then you can see a version update manager.
Click upgrade. If the upgrade fails, click "check:" in the update manager and then click upgrade again.
Then follow the prompts to perform the operation, which is very simple.
Method 2: Pure commands
First upgrade the system (mainly the system kernel ):
Sudo apt-get update & sudo apt-get upgrade
Restart your computer.
Restart your computer and run the following command:
Sudo apt-get install update-manager-core

Change Prompt = lts to Prompt = normal
Save and close
