Install

Ubuntu 11.10 users can use Linux Mint sources to install the Mate and MGSE extensions.

1. Open the terminal and enter the following command:

The following error occurs when sudo apt-get udpate updates the source:

We can solve this problem through the following methods:

Sudo apt-get install linuxmint-keyring
Sudo apt-get update
In this way, we can see the Mint Software List in the Ubuntu Software Center.

4. Install Mint Mate:

Similar to sudo apt-get install mint-meta-mate, we can also install other MGSE and Mint extensions in the Ubuntu Software Center.
After installation is complete, log out and log on to Mate.
