Canonical has been working to make Ubuntu into a general operating system that can run on any size screen for many years. Recently, the company presented their next plan in a speech, is to unify the icon design of the Ubuntu Operating System of the desktop version and the Ubuntu Operating System of the mobile version.
The responsible person revealed that the new icon will meet the development trend of the current uidesign. The new icon has a more flat and stylized appearance than the icon to be materialized in the old version of the desktop Ubuntu operating system. System icons are no longer colorful, but they are more restrained in appearance, and applications and folders have been designed to be more elegant and intuitive, making them look different. Of course, the new icons will not be actually applied to Ubuntu within a period of time, because our goal is to release them to version 14.04 (13.10 is the current version ).
