It has been less than a year since I started playing linux. For some senior users, I have little say to linux. If linux and its advocates maintain this high posture, they will not be able to develop. "civilians" can also speak, so that ordinary users can make comments, this is the best way to move a good system to the desktop. I have found that many linux communities, while advocating "freedom", reject common users, in this way, even if we buy a Dell preinstalled linux instance, it will be less than a year since we started playing linux. From the earliest FC4 to the current Ubuntu, I have tried one version, and every upgrade of Ubuntu will bring great surprises. After using Ubuntu 6.10 (Edgy Eft) for nearly three months, I feel that it is already a very good desktop operating system. There are no problems with surfing the Internet, watching movies, listening to songs, and writing blogs, in this case, Ubuntu 7.04 (Feisty Fawn) brings us a "truly mature Desktop Linux ".

In the released Ubuntu 7.04, two important upgrades are Gnome 2.18 and OpenOffice 2.2, which provide a better user experience. Many new features of Ubuntu 7.04 are brought about by Gnome upgrade. One is an office necessity. OpenOffice 2.2 has become better-looking and has been enhanced in the PDF Format output function. The upgrade of X server to X.org 7.2 is worth noting. It not only improves stability, but also enhances support for Compiz. However, it is annoying that ati's fglrx driver still cannot support aiglx.
