Article title: DoS attack vulnerability caused by Ubuntu8.04LTS exposure. Linux is a technology channel of the IT lab in China. Some basic categories, including desktop applications, Linux system management, kernel research, embedded systems, and open source, were found in the Linux kernel of Ubuntu 8.04 LTS yesterday. This vulnerability affects not only Ubuntu8.04 LTS, but also its derivative versions Kubuntu 8.04, Edubuntu 8.04, and Xubuntu 8.04. This kernel vulnerability may be exploited by attackers to cause a system crash, resulting in DoS (Denial of Service: a Denial of Service ).
