In Ubuntu 9.04, when a headset is inserted for a concert, the speaker in the notebook will make a sound at the same time. In order to solve this problem, I searched for a while in the Ubuntu Chinese forum and did not find any simple method. I personally thought it would not be so troublesome. So I tried it for a while and found that it was really good. See the following method:
1. system volume settings-> volume control...
Device: HDA Intel (Alsa mixer) // This device is the default device. I have not modified it.
---- If you are not sure, you can go to system> sound effects to test the device options that allow the speaker and headset in your notebook to sound at the same time. It is probably the default option (automatically selected ).
2. In volume control, enable preference:
Make sure that the Front playback and Headphone are checked.
