This test is intended for Ubuntu 9.04 x86_64 official version and Ubuntu 9.10 Alpha 1 beta version, the platform is equipped with Core i7-920 OC 3.6GHz processor, wasu X58 SuperComputer motherboard, 3 gb csx DDR3 memory, Seagate 320GB hard drive (ST3320620AS), ATI Radeon HD 4770 graphics card, etc, the Test software still uses Phoronix Test Suite.

The new GCC 4.4 compiler shortens MySQL Compilation Time by nearly five seconds, about 6%.
ImageMagick compilation time is reduced by 4 seconds, that is, 9%.
7-zip compression speed increased by 4%.
The LAME MP3 encoding speed is increased by 3%.
Using FFmpeg to transcode AVI to ntsc vcd also accelerates the process by 3%.
