As a UI Designer, howInterface DesignIt is very important to induce users. Today, I don't want to teach you how to design. Let's talk about psychology ~
Do not present all information at the same time. The necessary information in the current scenario is displayed in stages.
Designers often make a mistake:At the same time, a large amount of information is displayed to users.. Do not provide a large amount of information at a time. In the current scenario, only necessary information can be provided to meet current needs. If there are high-end users who do not need guidance, at the same time, there will be low-end users that need to be described in detail.
So what exactly does it mean?
* Displays information gradually instead of once.
* If you can obtain the required information each time you click, you will enjoy the pleasure of clicking.
* Understand when a user group needs it.
* If you cannot accurately grasp what is required in each stage, the method of gradual display will not work.
How should we design it?
You can first prompt the category of the information type, and then further select.
People are always greedy for more choices, but a large number of options will often paralyze people's thinking.
Let's take a look at a jam experiment.
Lab scenario: Put the jam for the customer to try on at the booth desk in the supermarket, put 6 different flavors of jam in the first test time, and 24 in the second test.
Result?
40% of the customers who put 6 kinds of jam in the test stopped and the purchase rate reached 31%.
There are 24 types of customers with 60% try, but the purchase rate is only 3%.
What does the experiment tell us?
* When people face multiple choices, their brains are often excited, causing them to stop watching.
* When there are too many choices, people will try only a few of them.
* When there are few choices, people will try them all.
So how do we embody this psychology in design?
[When people have too many choices, they will not choose anything at last. Because you have not started to choose it, you are already in trouble]Remember this sentence before designing.
The products on the following websites are shown in detail.
Whenever you ask the user what options they want, they will get answers like "all" and "many. We should also try to reject such requirements from users. A small number of options can give us a better desire for careful selection. Too many options can only let us try just a few of them.
Face photos are more eye-catching
Do you believe it? The human brain has areas dedicated to face recognition.
* The most striking face on a webpage is
* The face has a guiding line of sight.
* A strong demand for reading a portrait photo on a single screen
How should we design it?
It is very effective to use photos to attract the first sight.
People often rely on their appearances and feelings to determine whether they are trustworthy.
A research team concluded through tests on health websites:
* The reason is determined to be untrusted websites. 83% of testers indicate that they are related to the design.
* 74% of the factors determining a trusted website are design and content.
