Usage of annotations in javascript and summary of precautions

Source: Internet
Author: User

There are two annotation methods in javascript:

Single line comment ://

Multi-line comment :/**/

Annotations are mainly used to make the program we write more readable and make it easier for others to make secondary modifications.

As shown in the following example, the regular expression is annotated with/**/. A syntax error is reported during running.

Copy codeThe Code is as follows:
/*
Var rm_a =/a */. match (s );
*/

Therefore, block-level annotations are insecure. If such errors are made in our code, it is difficult to troubleshoot them.

So it is best to use single-choice comments // instead of multi-line comments /**/

JavaScript comments
