First, open it in GIMP, and select the text to be merged using the moment Line Selection box (this can avoid other black interference, such as hair ),

Color-brightness/contrast: Open the adjust brightness contrast dialog box and adjust the contrast to the maximum value (if the contrast between the word and the background is not very strong, you can also use the color-level tool to select a channel)

This ensures that the text color is uniform and the background colors are eliminated.
Then, use the color selection tool and click the black character. In this way, all the black characters in the selection box are selected, while the beautiful hair is ignored.

Copy, file -- create -- from clipboard, so that all the text is re-inserted into an image. The background is transparent and can be edited at will.
