Ubuntu 10.04 + Windows XP dual-system micro-machine room Production Method Introduction:

1. In the WinXP environment of some teaching systems, a stable student machine is used as the "Source" Student machine.

Ii. Partition properly. It is best to place WinXP in the first partition and Ubuntu In the last partition. If the memory is larger than 1 GB, swap partitions are not set.

3. Install Ubutnu, upgrade and install the italb client, and Ubuntu tweak. To test the Ubuntu system, we recommend that you set up a student user for security purposes. Block the reading of FT32 and NTFS file systems. Otherwise, the XP teaching system is quite dangerous! You can also use the "Main Menu" to block menus that are not intended for students. This operation is time-consuming and important. It directly affects the stable operation of the teaching system of the whole computer room.

4. Install the GRUB beautification program and give students a nice and friendly menu!

5. Install a Ubuntu server and the DRBL service. Use the PXE remote function to compress the entire disk of the "Source" Student machine and upload it to the server using the SSH service. Then, use the DRBL restoration function to restore the entire IDC system.

6. Reset the user and IP address of WinXP and set the Ubuntu network IP address. And use Ubuntu tweak to lock the desktop settings!

After six steps, the Ubuntu and WinXP dual-system micro-host rooms are basically completed.
