Use RHEL5 for NTP server error Solution

An NTP server is built using RHEL. An error is displayed when ntpdate is updated on the server, as shown below:

My configuration is as follows:

Restrict 127.0.0.1

Restrict-6: 1

Restrict 10.0.0.0 mask 255.0.0.0 nomodify notrap

Restrict 210.31.187.0 mask limit 255.0 nomodify notrap

Server 210.72.145.44 prefer

Server 0.rhel.pool.ntp.org

Server 1.rhel.pool.ntp.org

Server 2.rhel.pool.ntp.org

Is my configuration incorrect?

After surfing the Internet, google prompts you to directly execute "ntpdate time server domain name or address. The following error is displayed when ntpdate 210.72.145.44 is entered:

Think about the cause of the conflict between the NTP server's downstream port time and the upstream port time. Execute service ntpd stop and ntpdate 210.72.145.44 again. The update time is displayed as follows:

So far, the NTP server has been updated. Run hwclock-w to write data to the BIOS.

But how can I configure it to enable the NTP server to automatically communicate with the upper-layer time server to update the completion time.
