The setdefault () method is similar to the get () method, but the dictionary [Key] = is set by default if the key is not already in the dictionary.
Method
The following is the syntax of the setdefault () method:

Dict. setdefault (key, default = None) |
Parameters
Key -- this is the key to be searched
Default -- this is the value returned if no key is found.
Return Value
This method returns the available dictionary key values. If a given key is unavailable, it returns the default value provided.
