Using VMware ThinApp to address the brocade fibre switch's inability to Web Access

Cause:

The unit bought two storage, two brocade fibre switches, several servers, and Oracle RAC.

But the brocade fibre switch has requirements for the Java version, I tried Java 7.X, Java 8.X, Java 6.0X, Java 6.3X, can not be opened with the Web. (although it can be configured with the command line, I don't want to learn the order in order to draw a zone.) ）

Finally, you can open it with Java 6.24 (both Windows XP and Windows 7). But my laptop is Windows 10, and Java 6.24 is not open.

Resolution process:

Then I thought about the ThinApp of VMware. Previously also used ThinApp to hit the Ie+java package.

Say dry, I used ThinApp made a Ie6+java 6.24 package. You can open the Brocade Web interface in both Windows XP and Windows 7. But to open the program under my Windows 10 error.

Try to execute the Ie+java package I did before, without error. (not previously packaged in Java 6.2X)

It's weird, I did it. Why one can execute, one will error.

Consider that there may be a different version of ThinApp.

Next I tried the Vmwarethinapp 4.7.1-677178,vmware ThinApp 4.7.3-891762,vmware-thinapp-5.1.0-2079447. cannot be executed under Windows 10.

Finally, the Ie6+java 6.24 package that was generated with the VMware THINAPP 5.2.2-4435715 release can open the Web page of the brocade switch under Windows 10.

Install a clean Windows XP with Microsoft's official installation disk.
