When the app crashes on the device, iOS logs these error logs and creates a crash report (Crash reports). The crash report contains the version, date, exception type, stack trace, and other information for iOS.
① viewing crash reports in Xcode
When the app crashes during development, you can use Xcode Organizer to view the crash report directly. Follow these steps:
1. Open organizer;
2. Select the "Devices" option (top of the interface);
3. Select the device item in the left menu bar;
4. Select "Device Logs" in "Devices";
The list contains crash reports for all apps in the device.
② viewing crash reports in the App Store
When a user installs an app from the App Store, iOS submits the crash report to the Apple server, which can be downloaded using itunes Connect. Do the following:
1. Log in to iOS Dev Center;
2. Select itunes Connect;
3. Select "Manage Your Applications";
4. Select the app you want to view the crash report on;
5. Select "View Details" under the app icon
6. Select the "Cransh Reports" link;
