How many times a snapshot is made is customized, such as it can be done every 4 hours.
For example there are a,b,c,d of four files.
1) First Snapshot (COW):
The snapshot is instantaneous, when the camera creates a snapshot space, for example, 20%, then changes the a file to A1 (the change is compared to the time of the photo), Checkpoint/snap shot is a file, and then back up the CK. Restore the words according to CK's pointer (pointing to the source file) +ck file (a file before the change) to recover.
Then if you change a again, it just overwrites the source file A1, and does not overwrite the a file in CK.
2) Second Snapshot:
After taking pictures and then changed the A1 file to A2, and then change the B file to B1,ck content is a1+b, restore the words ibid, need source file +ck.
3) Third Snapshot:
After taking photos, the A2B1CD all deleted, then CK file is A2B1CD, that is, the same as the source file (beyond the CK set value, will be alerted, but CK capacity will automatically extend), the recovery is the CK in the data is fully restored.
