I have been writing projects these days to find that my previous projects can access, in a period of time to write this project is not able to access, did not find the logic of the code error, but is not access to JSP page, the project was released is a 404 error, and later found that it was released to Tomcat above the project did not publish index.jsp with the Web. xml file, the Lib package is not even published. Here are the details of the process I'm looking for, and record it in case I forget later.
The first step: is you want to find the console servers, and then double-click to open it and view the information inside.
Step Two: Configure the installation directory for the published project in server
Later I found out that I was still unable to access the project under Tomcat, and then I looked at my Web project in the WebApps under my installed Tomcat and found that there was no dependency package in my Web project that needed to be configured in Jsp,web.xml and Lib. I found my mistake in comparison with other projects that I could run.
The Lib directory is missing because MAVEN dependencies are not added in the deployment assembly of the project properties, and are configured correctly as follows:
The lack of Web. XML and JSP pages is due to the fact that there is no webapp dependency in the deployment assembly of the project properties, which is correctly configured as follows
The last item was an error because I lacked the target.
The final project will work.
When eclipse deploys the MAVEN Web project to the Tomcat server, there is no way to copy the Lib/web. XML to the previous solution
