Recently, after deploying the system to the customer, when conducting the UAT test, we found some small problems (some JSP files), and then made incremental release. , but later in the page refresh time, how all is display does not come out effect, later on service WebSphere restart, the page still did not appear effect, then thought, may be because of the reason of the cache, later entered the related directory, also really found, After the JSP compiled. class file, delete, refresh the page again, OK, record, for the future small partners encounter similar problems, can be quickly resolved.

When we modify the JSP in WebSphere, sometimes the modified JSP does not work, especially after changing the style of a JSP. The effect is not seen on the page, which is mainly due to the cache in WebSphere, which clears the WebSphere JSP cache, the project's deployed directory (or the path after the war package system is automatically decompressed):
D:\IBM\WebSphere\ Appserver\profiles\appsrv01\installedapps\xxxxnode01cell\ Project name _war.ear\ the project name. War
Updates a JSP page in this directory, and then, when viewed in a browser, found that the page did not change. At this point we need to look at the cache directory where the temporary files are applied:
D:\IBM\WebSphere\AppServer\profiles\AppSrv01\temp\xxxxNode01\server1\ project name _war\ The project name. War in this directory, you can see a lot of class files, are JSP compiled, corresponding to our application directory JSP file, then find the corresponding JSP class file Delete (or the entire delete JSP compiled class file), and then to the browser to view, The discovery has changed.

There is also a way to remove or rename this JSP from the project, and then to view the browser inside the page, this may be an error, and then add the corresponding JSP or the name of the change over, Once again in the browser to view the application, we found that the JSP update effect came out.
