Xamarin simplified Android KeyStore Signature

Installation

It's not easy to start using this new tool. In Visual Studio 2017 (upcoming vs 2015), just go to Tools-> Extensions and updates, and search for "KeyStore" to find the extension.

After downloading, simply restart Visual Studio and you will see it in the Tools menu.

On the Xamarin studio side, open the Add-ons dialog box under the Xamarin Studio menu and locate the Android signature tool under library and mobile development.

After installation, you will see it under the Tools menu.

Find a signature

After installing the tool and starting it, we can choose to find the signature of the default KeyStore, or specify the path to the KeyStore we created ourselves. If we choose our own, we must enter the alias and password associated with the KeyStore and click Generate signature.
