The next video card settings are really annoying to me! I used the limited driver manager to select the nvidia official graphics card Accelerator Driver (my video card is GF2MX400). After loading the driver as prompted, restart the driver. Then, I checked the display settings and found that there were problems with the optional resolutions. I also found problems with Screen and Graphics Preferences. So I installed nvidia-settings and used nvidia-settings to view the settings. Some normal options are reset in nvidia-settings. After restarting, X cannot be entered! Check/etc/X11/xorg. conf. Everything seems normal! Temporarily use the VESA driver to enter the system. It is found that the nvidia official graphics card Accelerator Driver of the restricted driver manager is not selected although it is being used. Then re-select it, re-download and install the driver, and restart again as prompted. After restart, you can use the restricted driver normally. However, it is found that many parameters are set in/etc/X11/xorg. conf, such as various resolutions, and it is unnecessary. Then, set the parameter with $ sudo dpkg-reconfigure xserver-xorg again. Restart X, very good. I am afraid to use nvidia-settings now. uninstall it now! @_@

The following is the font issue. There is a special program in ubuntu to set the font of the entire system. However, in Xubuntu, fonts can only be set through the user interface and window manager. Since wenquanyi font is very popular, I used it both in Dedian and Hiweed, So I installed xfonts-wqy and wanted to set it through the user interface and window manager, the font is not displayed! How can I disappear from the past? According to my old experience, I restarted the machine and did not expect to enter the system and found that all the words became very small! It is hard to distinguish. I tried to open the user interface and window manager, set the font number from 9 to 20, and barely understood the word. I found the wenquanyi song font and immediately used it. However, it is found that the font size adjustment is not very large, which is quite different from the previous one! After adjusting the font size to a suitable font size, I thought it would be safe to use it. However, there was a strange phenomenon in my use of almost any program. For example, I can open the system monitor and view the system, process, and file system. However, when I click the resource option, the system monitor will be automatically disabled immediately! Firefox is also a strange phenomenon. Click "about Mozilla Firefox" under "help" in the menu. The window flashed and Firefox was automatically closed immediately! Other programs, regardless of the system or application! I suspect that the text font was just used. I used the default San font back, unmounted xfonts-wqy, restarted, and everything went back to normal!

Then use aMule and mldonkey. In the past, when Dedian and Hiweed were used, aMule was working normally. Now, no matter how it is set ...... The server is automatically exited as soon as the server is updated. KAD cannot be connected at all. So I want to use mldonkey. I downloaded the latest version 2.9.2 from the mldonkey official website. Both glibc and source versions cannot be installed and used. Maybe my capabilities are really limited. You can only use version 2.9.1 In the gutsy source, and then download a sancho. In this way, another problem arises. Because the mldonkey In the gutsy source must use the root permission to run, $ sudo mldonkey is required to run sancho each time. This is really annoying. Maybe you can just reset the permissions, but I am also tired. That's all. MS Windows version of The mldonkey after the installation of a lot of server, but the linux version does not, so I copy the server. ini in the Windows mldonkey to linux, haha. However, the download speed is still slow!

I sometimes use BT, so I want to find a BT application software. mldongkey has never been used for the moment. I heard that it is good based on Java, but I don't like Java virtual machines. How can I get a slow word when I used lumaQQ? I installed several BT programs in the gutsy source and found that a qtorrent can be used. However, the function is really limited, so I cannot choose to download or not download files. I recently found a tutorial about Deluge. I heard that it is very good.
