According to IDC's survey, the number of global domain names registered over 115 million in the period from 2010.7.27 to 2010.8.2, hired increased last week, but net growth was less than 50,000 last week. So, let's look at the growth of each top-level domain:

The data from Figure 3 shows that the net growth in U.S. COM domain names reached 7,234 during the period from July 27 to August 2, and that as of August 2, the US COM domain name was more than 53.54 million, significantly higher than the number of domain names in other countries. Other domain names also grew during this period. Compared with the United States, below, we will take a look at the industry predicted that the next 2 years to become the second domain name of China in the period from 2010.7.27 to 2010.8.2 domain name growth:

Figure 4 shows that during the period from July 27 to August 2, China's domain name registration number also increased, COM domain name net growth of 9,937, and as of August 2, the number of COM domain names has reached 3.5 million, accounted for the domestic market share of 85%. Although it is a little bit more distant than the United States, the outlook for the future is excellent.

According to the above data, global domain name registration continues to climb, the United States still occupy the supremacy, but noncommittal, China's domain name registration is also growing, according to this trend, it is bound to become the second largest domain name market after the United States, will be able to shake the U.S. hegemony, we may wait to see.
