A knowledge integration framework for semantic BOM oriented to cloud manufacturing

In order to overcome the defects of semantic knowledge integration in traditional BOM information integration, and to support the seamless transfer, sharing and reuse of BOM knowledge among cloud manufacturing enterprises, a knowledge integration framework of semantic BOM oriented to cloud manufacturing is proposed. The Integrated Framework consists of three modules of semantic BOM knowledge representation, knowledge mapping and knowledge service. The Knowledge Representation module integrates ontology, uses owl DL to express the formal knowledge of semantic BOM, constructs the semantic BOM Knowledge ontology model; The knowledge mapping module is based on the semantic BOM multi-view mapping method to form the semantic BOM view of the cloud manufacturing enterprise; The Knowledge Service module takes the Web service as the medium, The semantic BOM view is packaged into knowledge service, which realizes the sharing and reuse of BOM knowledge through the means of service registration, binding, discovery and combination. This framework can support cloud manufacturing enterprises to quickly reconstruct BOM knowledge model on the basis of knowledge reuse on demand.
