With the development of data services and NoSQL databases, Web applications increasingly need NoSQL databases, and now it seems that NoSQL databases have a tendency to break traditional relational databases.
In December last year, couchbase a http://www.aliyun.com/zixun/aggregation/32268.html "> survey showed that many companies are ready to adopt NoSQL technology over the next year." But why did they deploy NoSQL? Why are they abandoning more traditional relational data management systems?
Google released its bigtable paper in 2006, and Amazon brought us dynamo. The technological innovations of these internet giants have also pioneered the development of NoSQL technology.
NoSQL's influence has involved some of the earlier relatively traditional businesses, such as finance, insurance, automobiles, transportation, media, manufacturing, and so on. including Zynga, SmugMug, AOL and heknot.com like NoSQL databases such as Couchbase and MongoDB. According to the current trend, the development of NoSQL will reach a new level in 2012 years.
The Couchbase survey received feedback from a total of 1351 people, which suggests they are interested in NoSQL technology and may deploy NoSQL databases this year. They say NoSQL may be better suited to massively complex web apps, which also makes NoSQL more common in the future. The survey also shows that NoSQL does have a good market outlook. About half of the companies surveyed said they would spend more money on NoSQL technology in the first half of 2012.
Surveys show that 70% of companies are working to develop NOSQL technology, while researchers in some of the larger companies have invested 250. As the big Data wave hits, 40% of companies surveyed said NoSQL was important and gradually became the key to apps, while 37% said NoSQL was becoming more important.
With regard to the current distribution of NoSQL products in the market, the survey found that 32.9% per cent of respondents were using the MongoDB of 10gen companies, while the Cassandra users of DataStax companies were 6.8%. Basho's Riak also has a 4.9% share, while other types of NoSQL database products account for a total of 21.3%. Finally, 20.4% said that the enterprise has not deployed NoSQL.
Looking ahead, 36.4% of companies are ready to try to use mongodb,11.1% 's propensity to Cassandra, riak and get 7% of the vote. The last 23.2% users will choose a different kind of nosql database. Only 6.4% of companies say they have no plans to use NoSQL.
The use of C # and Java in the NOSQL environment has dominated the programming language. Ruby, Python, PHP, and Perl all have a place. Only 2.1% of respondents said they would use the C language in NoSQL environments. (Li/compiling)
