In the afternoon of July 15, according to foreign reports, China and the United States said in Wednesday that China agreed to open the market for entertainment products before March 19, 2011, following a World Trade Organization (WTO) ruling. The US has sued China for barriers to imports and distribution of books, music, movies and other entertainment products, and China lost the WTO appeal last December, Reuters reported. In Wednesday, the WTO website released a letter to the WTO from China and the U.S. ambassador to the WTO, which said the two countries agreed that China would implement the WTO ruling within 14 months of January 9 this year.
