China continued to increase its holdings of U.S. Treasuries in October and remains the largest creditor of the U.S. government, according to figures released 15th by the US Treasury. China increased its holdings of US Treasuries by $23.3 billion trillion in October, holding a total of $906.8 billion trillion and more than $15 billion trillion in September. China has increased its holdings of $63.1 billion trillion in U.S. Treasuries since June. Figures show that Japan has also continued to increase its holdings of U.S. Treasuries in recent months, with the total holdings of US Treasuries in October reaching a record high of $877.4 billion trillion.
