This paper presents a software and hardware design and implementation method of a high efficient cloud computing node machine based on Godson multi-core processor, and develops the corresponding prototype system successfully. Experiments and tests show that the single node of the system has achieved the 0.256x1012 floating-point operation (Tflops) per second, the single cabinet can accommodate 42 1U node chassis, 672 cpu,2 688 CPU core (672x4) performance, the overall has based on the Godson multi-core processor, high-density, The advantages of high performance power ratio, which lays a solid foundation for the cloud computing system based on Godson multi-core processor.
