Consumer prices rose 4.9% per cent year-on-year in January

The National Bureau of Statistics in January, consumer prices overall level rose 4.9% year-on-year. Among them, cities rose 4.8%, rural areas rose 5.2%, food prices rose 10.3%, Non-food prices rose 2.6%, consumer prices rose 5%, and service prices rose 4.6%. Total consumer prices rose by 1% per cent a quarter.　　Among them, food prices rose 2.8%, food in the price of fresh vegetables rose 14.4%, eggs price rose 2.3%. First, food prices rose 10.3% year-on-year.　　Among them, food prices rose 15.1%, poultry and its products prices rose 10.9%, eggs price rose 20.2%, aquatic product prices rose 11.1%, fresh food prices rose 2%, fresh fruit prices rose 34.8%. Second, alcohol and tobacco prices rose 1.8% year-on-year.　　Among them, tobacco prices rose 0.4%, alcohol prices rose 4.3%. Third, clothing prices fell 0.2% year-on-year.　　Among them, the clothing price rises 0.3%, the shoe price drops 2.8%. Four, household equipment supplies and maintenance services category prices rose 1.4% year-on-year.　　Among them, consumer durables prices fell 0.7%, home service and processing maintenance services prices increased by 11.4%. Five, health care and personal supplies category prices rose 3.2% per cent year-on-year.　　Among them, Western medicine prices rose 0.6%, Chinese herbal medicines and proprietary Chinese medicine prices rose 11.3%, health care services prices rose 0.8%. Traffic and communications prices fell 0.1% year-on-year.　　Among them, transport prices fell 1.3%, vehicle fuel and spare parts prices rose 7%, vehicle use and maintenance prices rose 2.3%, urban transport prices increased by 3.7%, urban public transport costs rose 0.7%; communication tool price down 12.8%. Seven, entertainment education stationery and service prices rose 1% year-on-year.　　Among them, education prices rose 1.7%, entertainment costs rose 1.5%, tourism prices rose 7.6%, recreational consumer durables and service prices fell 6.2%. Eight, the residential category price rose 6.8% year-on-year. Among them, water, electricity, fuel prices rose 3.9%, building and decoration materials prices rose 4.3%, housing rental prices rose 7.1%.
