D is not model D, is a double motor: Tesla release improved model

Tesla released the "D" this morning, not the rumored new car model D, but the Model S improved P85D. The meaning of "D" is dual, which changes the power scheme of the single motor rear drive after the Model S is used, and adds a second motor to the rear of the car, which increases the energy efficiency of the top speed. Meanwhile, the improved P85D Model S will also increase auto pilot automatic driving function.

After replacing the new power scheme, the P85D hundred kilometers acceleration reaches 3.2 seconds (the old P85 is about 4 seconds). The high endurance reached 442 km, up to 16 km higher than the previous P85. P85D will be on sale this December, while a lower-end P85D variant and low-end p60d will be sold next February.
