BCC, Beijing, April 14 (Xinhua) According to the economic news, the International Monetary Fund (IMF) said that the global financial stability has improved over the past six months, underpinned by macroeconomic improvements and continued easing of macroeconomic policies, but the fragility of the global financial system remains. The global Financial Stability Report, released on the day of the International Monetary Fund, notes that the "two-speed" recovery in the world economy poses different policy challenges for countries. In the developed economies most affected by the crisis, governments and people face varying degrees of debt overhang, and financial institutions have failed to "restore health" as the economy recovers. Emerging market economies are facing new challenges related to strong domestic demand, rapid credit growth and large capital inflows, the report said.
