January-August imports of crude oil 158 million tons year-on-year increase of 22.6%

The State Administration of Customs September 10 released statistics show that this January-August, China's cumulative imports of crude oil 158 million tons, an increase of 22.6%, the import amount of 88.308 billion U.S. dollars, an increase of 77.6%.　　Over the same period, China's imports of 23.88 million tons of refined oil, a year-on-year decline of 8.5%; imports amounted to 14.078 billion U.S. dollars, an increase of 30.1%. Metal, the January-August China's imports of steel 11.18 million tons, year-on-year decline of 2.5%; the import amount of 13.465 billion U.S. dollars, increased by 5.6%.　　Imports of copper and copper 2.9545 million tons, fell 0.5% year-on-year, the import amount of 21.77 billion U.S. dollars, the year-on-year increase of 56.8%.　　Exports, 1-August, China's export of coal 13.23 million tons, down 10.8% year-on-year, exports 1.47 billion U.S. dollars, down 13.8% year-on-year. Over the same period, China's exports of 18.96 million tons of refined oil, an increase of 26.8% per cent, exports of 12.175 billion U.S. dollars, increased 83.1%. Exports of steel 30.93 million tons, an increase of 133.6%, exports 25.408 billion U.S. dollars, year-on-year increase of 88.9%.
