Makingware Community Edition v1.5 update instructions

Makingware is based on the Magento http://www.aliyun.com/zixun/aggregation/7871.html "> e-commerce platform. Makingware for the domestic market, the Magento has been improved and adjusted, including Chinese culture, account management, payment methods, address format, logistics support, checkout process and so on. Makingware aims to create a powerful, highly flexible enterprise-class e-business platform.

With the spirit of Magento open source, we think makingware should spread the spirit of this open source. Therefore, we decided to develop the Makingware Community Edition, provided to the domestic programmers, e-commerce sites for free development and use. We also want to promote the application of Magento in China through the Community edition. Magento excellent structure is worthy of our learning and reference. We hope that the Makingware Community Edition will enable more programmers to touch and realize such a flexible and powerful plug-in architecture. At the same time, we also hope that makingware can contribute to the development of domestic E-commerce software, hoping to improve the application level of domestic E-commerce software through open source and community strength.

Makingware CE 1.5 Major changes are as follows:

Software Environment requirements

Operating system: Windows or Linux (strongly recommended for Linux)

Installation steps

It is highly recommended to use Linux operating system! Create a MySQL database using the UTF-8 character set, do not prefix the data table! Unzip the Makingware compressed package into the apache/php environment, assuming that the configured virtual machine is http://makingware.localhost.com open browser access http://makingware.localhost.com You will see the terms of the agreement interface, check "I agree to the above terms", click "Continue" in the localization configuration interface, the proposed retention of the default configuration, click "Continue" in the configuration interface, enter the first step created in the database name and username password, other leave the default option setup will generate Makingware database, Takes a long time (two minutes or so), please be patient, if there are errors please increase PHP's available memory and execution time, and then choose to install the demo data, click "Continue" Setup will add the demo data in the database, also need a long time (about five minutes), Please wait patiently (the machine performance is not good suggestion or skip this step) Enter administrator information, key there skip installation complete
