Socket_set_blocking

Syntax: int socket_set_blocking (int socket descriptor, int mode)

Description:

If mode is false, the given socket descriptor will be swapped into a shelveset mode, and if mode is true, it will be switched to shelve mode. This affects functions like fgets () that are read from the socket, and in the fgets mode, the call to the () will always return to the shelve mode, which will wait for the data to become available.

This function is to call socket_set_blocking () beforehand, but is not in favor of this usage.
