New Year's Day home appliances export to Hong Kong to meet the latest electromagnetic radiation standards

Washington (reporter Chenlili Correspondent Zhao Ziyang) yesterday, Shunde Inspection and Quarantine Bureau to the home appliance manufacturers issued a reminder that, from January 1, 2011 onwards, access to local household electrical products, in addition to the applicable International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) safety standards or other equivalent international standards (such as European security standards)　　, it is also necessary to comply with the international safety standards of electromagnetic fields, so as to ensure that the electromagnetic field of household appliances products may not emit radiation that might pose a danger to the public.　　According to the introduction, the Electrical and Mechanical Services Department of Hong Kong stipulates that the applicable electromagnetic safety standard for household electrical products is EN62233 or EN50366 or IEC62233, and the execution time is January 1, 2011. Shunde entry-Exit inspection and Quarantine Bureau reminds home appliances export enterprises, from now on, where the export of China's electrical appliances products in Hong Kong, the product must provide the CNAS Accreditation laboratory issued by the radiation-related test report. According to the requirements of the electrical and Mechanical Services Department of Hong Kong, export enterprises are required to provide the Hong Kong Electrical and Mechanical Services department with information on the inventory of exported products prior to 2011 when they have been exported to Hong Kong, China but not with the safety standard certificate of electromagnetic fields.
