Parrot is the client component, which is an unmodified application and a redirection system calls a different remote server and can be applied to various controls to modify the application's namespace and resources. Chirp is a server component that allows ordinary users to easily export and store a command through wide area sharing, and control systems allow users to mix and match multiple authentication types. Parrot and chirp are mainly used in large-scale distributed systems such as clustering, cloud and power grids.
