September PMI creates April-highest manufacturing growth rate

China's manufacturing Purchasing Managers ' Index (PMI) was 53.8% in September this year, up from 2.1% last month, the highest in nearly four months, according to the latest figures released yesterday by the National Bureau of Statistics (SHI). PMI is a comprehensive indicator consisting of 5 indices, such as new orders, production and inventories.　　If the index is above 50%, it reflects the overall economic expansion; if below 50%, it reflects the overall recession.　　The National Bureau of Statistics said that since March 2009, the index has been 19 consecutive months at the critical point-more than 50% of the expansion interval, indicating that China's manufacturing economy overall showed a steady rise in the growth rate has accelerated. "The September PMI index has picked up markedly, indicating an acceleration in industrial expansion, but the impact of the holiday factors (mid-Autumn Festival in October, September this year) in September has been affected, and we expect the industrial growth in September to be about 13.5% per cent."　　"According to the corresponding changes in industry and other industries, we expect GDP growth at 9.1% per cent in the third quarter," said Zhu Jianfang, chief economist at Citic Securities. In addition to PMI, CPI (consumer Price index), GDP, such as the third quarter of China's economic key index will be announced this month, from 22 domestic and foreign financial institutions chief economist forecasts, three quarter GDP growth rate of around 9.38%, China's macroeconomic policy will remain stable.
