VisIt is an interactive, parallel visualization and graphical analysis tool for viewing scientific data. Users can quickly generate visual data, draw over time, and save as a demo of the resulting image. It includes a rich set of visual features that allow you to view data in a variety of ways. It can be used to visualize scalar and vector fields in two-and three-dimensional (2d and 3D) structured and unstructured grids. The goal is to interactively process the large dataset of the Terascale range http://www.aliyun.com/zixun/aggregation/14294.html "" and to lower the dataset to a smaller kilobytes.
VisIt 2.5.0 This version adds a number of improvements and bug fixes. It provides better support for double precision data. Windows distribution can be connected to a parallel windows cluster. The missing data values are now supported. Streamlined curves have made many improvements, including the support of trace lines. The Python module includes several new features and a new visit_utils module. The choices have been enhanced to give them a variety of ways to cells the grid index. Some readers (including NETCDF, GMV, Mfix, Cgnd, and Mili) have been upgraded.
