Users who are accustomed to Windows 7 or Windows 8 may have some degree of discomfort when using the Windows 10 interface settings. Windows 10 has made great modifications to desktop personalization, and it looks simpler. But the simplicity of the surface is quite rich, let's dive into Windows 10 and look at the basics of personality settings.

Personalization Settings for the Windows 10 system interface are integrated into the personalization window. This is the result of Microsoft's new collation of Windows interface settings. System personalization can be entered by the "Settings" entry in the Start menu, or by clicking "Personalize" in the Windows 10 desktop space.

The Windows 10 desktop background defaults to the picture form. In addition to using a single picture, you can choose between "Solid color" and "Slide Show" desktop. In solid color mode, the system desktop is displayed with a solid color background selected by the user (figure III). In slide show mode, you can assign a photo album folder to a slide so that the photos in the album automatically appear in the desktop background. A desktop slide specifies how often to automatically replace a photo and whether to start shuffle playback (Figure IV).

After the slide-setting desktop background show, the photo changes at a set interval, but the user can manually replace the desktop background by right-clicking the desktop space and selecting "Next Desktop Background". This is ideal for displaying your digital photos, simply by designating the slide folder as a fixed folder on your hard disk, and then depositing it in each shot, which can be shown automatically or manually.

Windows 10 Desktop Background settings also have a unique function: if the "fit" of the background picture is set to "spanned", if the computer is connected to more than one monitor, the desktop photo will be displayed across the display, providing a wider display space for the multiple display joint display of the wide scene picture (Figure V).

The Start menu, taskbar, Action Center, and window border colors for Windows 10 can be set through the personalized → color window. Color settings can intelligently follow a color in an existing background picture, which is controlled by a switch in the Colors window, automatically selecting a theme color from my background, which is turned on by default. If you want to define the color of your theme, first place the switch in the off state, and then select the color from the bottom of the color plate (Figure VI).

If you are not satisfied with the color of the given interface component, you can also customize it. Windows 10 does not directly provide entry options for customizing the color of the taskbar, window border, and Start menu in Control Panel. But we can set the color of these positions ourselves: press the "Win+r" key combination, enter the control color command and confirm, select any color in the color and Appearance window that appears, and click the down arrow "show color mixture" to adjust the slider until the color you want appears in the upper color block. Click "Save Changes" (Figure Seven).

If you want to set the theme color body to the Start menu, taskbar, and Operation Center, you will need to put the "Show Start menu, taskbar and Action Centre color" switch on the "on" state. To make the background of these parts transparent, you also need to turn on the transparent display switch (Figure Eight).

The Windows 10 default Start menu is also not a static. Users can decide whether to display the most commonly used application in the Start menu and whether to display the most recently added application, or whether to display a full-screen Start menu similar to a flat panel. You can also control whether the recently opened item is displayed in the Jump List of the start screen or taskbar icon. The latest 10547 previews also add options for displaying more entries and occasionally displaying suggestions (figure Nine).

By default, in the Windows 10 Start menu We see only the File Explorer and Setup two common system projects, and the documents, pictures, music, and so on in the traditional Windows Start menu are missing. In fact, these folders can be displayed through specific settings. In the System Settings window, click personalize → start, and click the "Select which folders appear on the Start Screen" link to set the folder item displayed in the Start menu. These items also include: downloads, videos, homegroup, networking, personal Folders, and more (Figure 10).

We are familiar with the above operation, you can set up their favorite personalized desktop style.
