安裝Windows Installer 4.5時出現can’t verify Update.inf錯誤

安裝SQL Server 2008前，要求安裝Windows Install 4.5，但是安裝此補丁包過程中，系統奇慢，幾乎失去響應，然而CPU和記憶體，硬碟均無明顯的瓶頸。十幾分鐘後出現錯誤提示如下：

 

"Cold not verify the integrity of the file Update.inf. Make sure cryptographic service is running on this computer."

 

查詢google，原因是Cryptographic service服務的設定檔發生異常，解決辦法如下：

1) 停止“Cryptographic service”服務；

2) rename %ststemdir%/system32/Catroot2 Catroo2_old 或清空此目錄下所有檔案；

3) 重新啟動“Cryptographic service”服務；

4) 再次安裝Installer 4.5，成功。
