To adjust the CPU fan speed, then the CPU fan to support the first adjustment, the CPU fan can be controlled speed must be 4pin cable CPU fan, the market many CPU fan is 3pin is not supported speed control.
In general, the original fan is a 4pin cable port, this can be adjusted, we can change the BIOS in the options to control the fan speed.
When the motherboard and CPU fans are equipped with automatic speed regulation, we have to enter the motherboard coms to make certain settings, in the PC Health status unit has a CPUFAN1 Mode setting option, this option is to control the CPU fan.
There are three modes thermal Cruise mode (by temperature), Speed Cruise mode (by speed adjustment), smart FAN iii+ mode (smart mode).
Thermal Cruise Mode
There are many options in thermal Cruise mode: CPUFAN1 targettemp value (fan target temperature), CPUFAN1 torlerance value (fan up/down limit), CPUFAN1 StartUp Value (fan boot temperature), CPUFAN1 stop value (fan stop or low speed rotation temperature), CPUFAN1 StopTime value (fan low running time)
For example: Set Cpufan targettemp value is 55 degrees, Cpufan tolerance value is 10,cpufanstartup value is 200,cpu stopvalue is 150;
So when the CPU temperature reaches 55 degrees, the fan runs at full speed, when the temperature is below 55 o'clock, the fan runs at 200 of the relative speed, according to the linear rate of 10 drop, until the relative speed of 150, and then run at 150 speed.
Speed Cruise Mode
Speed Cruise mode option is simpler, CPUFAN1 targetspeed value (target speed), CPUFAN1 tolerance value (linear rate of change)
Smart FAN iii+ Mode
Smart FAN iii+ mode is intelligent, so the option is also the simplest, with only one tuning option CPUFAN1 tolerance value, which only requires a range value, and the motherboard can automatically control the speed of the fan for CPU temperature.
Read the above three models, we can according to their actual situation to choose different modes, so that the CPU fan work, it should be noted that, if the first two choices, it must be based on the actual situation selected data, or may be due to the CPU fan speed too small and burned the CPU.
