According to the practice of carrier networking, all major operators are using different network-based bearer methods to build separate IP bearer networks and Internet access based on different service bearer characteristics. Internet access provides broadband services for the public, the IP bearer network provides excellent bearer services for service networks and major customers. Due to the high-speed growth of Internet access bandwidth, the existing MSTP transmission comprehensively carries the Internet access services, and there is a bandwidth restriction problem. It can only remove the broadband services from the traditional MSTP transmission, the formation of broadband network transmission and 2G/3G transmission network-based model. In the early stage, the restructuring of China Unicom was faced with the integration of China Netcom and China Unicom's two transmission networks and five data networks. Based on the idea of carrying the service by network, the specific integration ideas of fixed network and basic network for network migration were as follows: 2G/3G network transfer is mainly carried in MSTP/ASON (core layer) + MSTP/PTN (ACCESS), china169 bandwidth is mainly carried in WDM/OTN (or bare fiber) + G/EPON (ACCESS): Based on the business needs of intercommunication, some transmission nodes in the same region of the original China Unicom and China Netcom are connected in collusion between nodes at the same level.

In terms of Internet access services, WDM is evolving to OTN applications, and the access layer uses G/EPON for flexible access, make full use of the features of OTN flexibility, protection, strong OAM capabilities, high bandwidth and low cost of G/EPON. For the access layer, the convergence of the fixed network and the mobile network is conducive to the construction of a wireless and wired tianluo network. With the maturity of HSDPA, carriers have been able to build a wide-coverage, medium-rate wireless broadband network, but this bandwidth is still difficult to meet users' broadband Internet access needs ,, cable supplements are necessary to meet users' indoor broadband needs. Operators can make full use of the abundant fiber optic cable Resources in the fixed network, and install indoor coverage, micro-cells, RRU, WLAN, EPON, and other sources to achieve broadband coverage in the building, install home gateways, WLAN, and Femto base stations in the home to achieve home broadband coverage. Through the combination of small outdoor data volumes and large indoor data volumes, operators can build a full-process IP Broadband Network that meets users' information transmission needs.

Business Network Integration: telecom and IT camp

In the R4 version of 3GPP, the WCDMA of the network has implemented the control and bearer separation of the circuit domain. interfaces such as Mc, Nb, and Nc are IP-oriented. The R5 and R6 versions propose IP-based bearer for the whole network. The AG/IAD, MGC, MGW, TG, and SG network elements of the fixed-network Softswitch are interconnected using IP signaling SIGTIN such as MGCP, H.248, SCTP, and MU3A, and the voice is carried by RTP/IP.

Since both the fixed network and the mobile network are IP-oriented, the existing fixed-mobile network fusion has a unified foundation: IP, which provides the conditions for the interconnection and unified bearing of the two networks. With the construction of IMS, various mobile and fixed network terminals and network elements will achieve full business integration at the IMS layer, and the fixed network and mobile network services will be connected, controlled, and processed on the same platform. The integration of fixed network and mobile network will reduce enterprise operation costs and facilitate the provision of personalized and integrated telecommunications services to customers.

With the intelligent and PC-based mobile phones and the further integration of the telecom field and IT field, voice gradually becomes a value-added service of the IP network, and the information business revenue increases gradually. Innovations in the IT field will further divert telecom business revenue, only by cooperating with the IT industry can operators achieve a win-win situation. IMS builds a relatively closed Telecommunications Service Network System on the IP bearer network. Because Internet access controls computer terminals and even smart phones, IMS's telecommunications services must be open to Internet computers, currently, a feasible strategy is that some P-CSCF is placed on Internet access, with the SIP proxy function, the S-CSCF forwards the SIP request or response to the P-CSCF, The S-CSCF supports private network penetration function. At the same time, IMS service functions on the server should be componentized, and client functions should be developed as APIS, sdks, and components based on Windows, Linux, and other systems, so that developers can easily call them.
