According to foreign media reports, people familiar with the matter said that from next week, IE users can upgrade to IE 8 through Windows Update.

On Thursday, Microsoft officially launched a new generation of Browser IE 8, which allows users to download for free. According to informed sources, in a week, IE users will be able to upgrade to IE 8 through Windows Update.

At the end of April, the system will automatically upgrade to IE 8. For the Simplified Chinese version, the exact automatic upgrade date is January 1, April 27.
