The SDK downloaded from the official website is actually a Installation tool, which does not have any content. It will take a long time to install it online. We can also download all the things that need to be installed from the download tool on the Network (you can also find them by yourself) and then directly put them in the corresponding directory, configure the SDK path in Eclipse.
The details are as follows: add-ons folder under the Android installation directory (if not, create it by yourself. The name must be "add-ons) it contains google_apis-* (* corresponding version number); in the platforms folder, it is a development platform, such as android-1.5; android-2.1_r01-windows and so on these two are 1.5 and 2.1 version of the platform; tools Folder don't worry, it seems from the official website have this. Someone may need the usb_driver folder or download it and put it in the sdk directory.
Then we need to set the path in Eclipse, click window, and then the preferences dialog box will pop up. An error may be reported. Ignore this. Click Android and add your SDK installation path in SDK Location, my D: Androidandroid-sdk-windows-1.6_r1, Apply, OK. Click window and then the pop-up dialog box for Android SDK and AVD Manager. Then, click Installed Packages to check whether something exists?
Finally, we also need to configure under PATH that is followed by the SDK tools PATH, such as my: D: Androidandroid-sdk-windows-1.6_r1tools, to be separated by a semicolon.
