Oracle startup listening error: the listener supports no services solved

$ LSNRCTL start

Error message:

 the listener supports no servicesthe command completed successfully:   the following error occurs when the remote connection is started: Oracle ORA-12514: TNS: Listener does not currently know of Service requested in connect descriptor  cause: the database instance is not registered with listener. solution 1:  in listener. add a line of sid_list_listener = (sid_list = (sid_desc = (global_dbname = orcl) (sid_name = orcl) to ora. Note: orcl in the line is determined based on the name of the database instance you installed, I used this method to solve this error.  solution 2:  log on to the database: $ sqlplus/As sysdba and display the service name: SQL> show parameter service_names forced registration service: SQL> alter system register; view listening status: $ LSNRCTL status
