Solution for connecting vmware to the Intranet but not the Internet

 

Run VM8.0.0 build-471780 in XP and run a linux

 

Result in linux, the Intranet (Campus Network) can be connected through a bridge, but the Internet cannot be accessed through NAT, and the network cannot be connected through NAT.

 

The network is disconnected as long as the bridge is switched to NAT.

 

Depressed for a long time, there has been a long time of no-network linux life ........

 

Later, I found inspiration by chance.

 

In XP Computer Management (services and applications-> services), we found that VMware DCHP Server and VMware NAT Server were disabled.

 

So, start these two services and change their Startup type to automatic !!
