Friends sent a PPT, with the file name being the experience design of Internet products. After reading it carefully, I learned a lot. What impressed me most was the three major laws of user experience availability, just as fastersoft is building an Internet Quality Platform iworld, it is a great happiness to bring good things to the door whenever necessary, therefore, it is necessary for me to describe these three laws with my own understanding.

 

There is no need to talk about Chinese software and technology. We are all aware that the market must be very large and super large, with nearly 1.5 billion of the population, and the number of enterprises and institutions is even larger, the number of civil servants alone has to scare many people to death. Can the market be small for so many people and organizations? I personally think that China is doing very poorly in software products. Most of the companies that just make products do not live well. Chinese software products are like cars or mobile phones made in China, despite all the features, the quality, performance, appearance, and humanization are always lacking, which can be daunting. Customers should be happy to buy products, instead of buying trouble .......

 

China's software platforms are doing well, such as online games, e-commerce, social networking, and so on. They may be so many people. Even if they are calculated by proportion, there are countless people who are bored, the hateful platform operator constantly designs various traps to make you deeper and deeper, countless people like to play, kill, shop, chat, and vent in a virtual world. Therefore, I think that if you are a platform in China, you only need to find a starting point, for example, starting from a specific domain, and then being good at analyzing Chinese psychology, including human nature, consumption psychology, and social conflicts, the possibility of success is very high.

 

Before analyzing the three major laws, I had a lot of questions. In fact, I want to introduce the user experience problems of Chinese products/platforms, but the more I get, the more I leave, the more I want to take care of it, isn't it enough to get angry with me? Let's get down to the truth.

 

1) First Law of user experience availability: do not let users think about it and provide a mechanism to correct errors.

 

It is not easy for a product to achieve this, but we should take this as the goal. The goal of people to use products is nothing more than to improve work efficiency, while making themselves or organizations easy and efficient, therefore, when designing products, we should assume that users are dummies, and products that can be used by dummies are good products. Users are neither your testing engineers nor your quality engineers, the user has no responsibility and obligation to test the product for you. What the user needs is a sense of efficiency and happiness. It is difficult for a product to succeed if it takes a long time to open a page.

 

2) second law of user experience availability: Do not expect users to study your products, and they should be able to quickly achieve their goals.

 

Products that require too much time for training and learning can be used normally by users. They should not be a good product. People use products to quickly achieve their own goals, rather than research them. For example, if you want to buy a mobile phone, you should use it as soon as you open it. If you need to carefully read the instruction manual before using it, it is estimated that this mobile phone is not for people on earth, it is for aliens. Therefore, humanized design is so important. Good products will extract people's traditional thinking and behavior patterns, and take into account the anxiety and psychological factors of people, as soon as you get it, you can use it easily and happily. The process of achieving your goals is fast and happy.

 

3) The third law of user experience availability: it does not matter how many clicks, as long as each click is a choice that does not need to be considered, clear and error-free.

 

The invention of the mouse by humans is to keep you in place, and the better you get. The mouse is a habit of people. Without the mouse, the world is terrible. A good product design won't mean letting users click the mouse, so it is definitely a good design idea to let users use the keyboard with less mouse clicks or selection.

 

When we do product planning and design, we often care about the opinions of business consultants and product managers. However, we do not feel much about user experience designers and think that is only a matter of art. This is wrong. The best user experience in the world is Steve Jobs's team. Apple's products are so crazy that a good user experience is definitely a key factor. Many products in daily life require a good user experience, especially computers, mobile phones, and automobiles, the user experience design will be fully reflected in your use process, making you happy or angry or happy!
