NAT: A virtual machine can be on the extranet and can access other computers on the network where the host computer resides (not otherwise).
1.1.1. View network parameters for a virtual machine
1 Open the virtual machine, select Menu "Edit" "Edit Virtual Network", the following figure:
2 Select "VMnet8 NAT" in the list and click "Restore Defaults" button in the lower left corner to restore the default parameter settings. Then click the NAT Settings button, as shown below:
3) record the subnet ip:192.168.52.0 and gateway ip:192.168.52.2 of the virtual network
1.1.2. Set the virtual network parameters for the physical host
1 Open the network connection of the physical host, locate the "VMware network Adapter VMnet8" and right-click the set properties:
2 Set the physical host virtual network IP address: 192.168.52.x,x between 0~255, but not with the above virtual network subnet IP repeat. The subnet mask, and the default gateway, are consistent with the subnet masks and gateways of the virtual network that was acquired above. DNS can be set and cannot be ignored, if set, you can take advantage of Google's free dns:8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4.
1.1.3. Set network parameters for a specific virtual machine
1 open a specific virtual machine, find a network connection, to set up:
2 Set the virtual machine network IP address: 192.168.52.x,x between 0~255, but not with the above virtual network subnet IP, physical machine immediately network IP duplication. The subnet mask, and the default gateway, are consistent with the subnet masks and gateways of the virtual network that was acquired above. DNS can be set and cannot be ignored, if set, you can take advantage of Google's free dns:8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4.
If you have a virtual machine, you can make the same settings. Note that both the VMnet8 Gateway of the physical machine and the gateway to the virtual machine point to the gateway set in the NAT parameter setting, in this case 192.168.52.2
