Hewlett-Packard announced two stunning decisions in Friday: Splitting PCs, abandoning tablets and smartphones, and will focus on enterprise-class software and solutions in the future. Analysts pointed out that, as the current global PC market boss, HP "broken wrist" on the one hand in the mobile internet to Apple and Google, and more importantly to accelerate the traditional PC market further integration, "the trend of the PC brand Asia is very clear." Hewlett-Packard's personal consumption business stalled Hewlett-Packard confirmed the plan at its three quarterly earnings meeting in fiscal 2011. According to earnings data, Hewlett-Packard three quarterly revenue of 31.2 billion U.S. dollars, the year-on-year growth rate of only 1.5%, and last quarter, the year-on-year growth rate of revenue is only 3%. In the more fragmented performance statistics, its pillar Business Personal Systems Group (including PC and mobile Terminal business) Three quarterly revenue fell 3%, operating profit margin of 5.9%, in HP's many business units, the lowest profit margins. "I want to expand cloud services and reduce reliance on PC business," said HP CEO Leo Apotheker, who explained: "The reason why we gave up webOS was because the department's operating losses were too severe." "webOS was the mobile operating system that Hewlett-Packard spent 1.2 billion dollars last April acquiring from Palm, the smartphone maker. In a year, Hewlett-Packard entered the tablet and smartphone market around webOS, but after six months of Touchpad, Hewlett-Packard acknowledged "sales have not met expectations". Lenovo, Samsung is the most likely to take over the pictures the HP mobile business is further interpreted as a problem for the overall personal consumer electronics market, "tablets have a real impact on the PC sector". What will happen to HP's PC business, given the spin-off plan, has been speculated that it will follow in the footsteps of IBM's transition to "Enterprise Services and Solutions". It is said that HP has planned to spend 10.25 billion of dollars to buy British enterprise cloud computing software company Autonomy Corp. "HP is likely to sell the personal systems sector in the consumer electronics market," he said. "Lenovo and Samsung are the most likely," said Yi, executive vice chairman and secretary general of China Mobile Internet Industry Alliance. In Yi's view, "Samsung has been trying to make the notebook business strong, but has never entered the global five, and Samsung has the capital strength", and Lenovo in recent years has frequent acquisition plans, "the use of capital means is not impossible." Many analysts, including IDC, an international authoritative data firm, have the same view that Samsung, Lenovo, which intends to expand the market, is likely to be a buyer of HP's PCs and the entire PC market will face a reshuffle. The direction of the PC industry shuffle is the latest in Asia IDC statistics show that two quarter of global PC market share, HP, Dell, Lenovo, Acer ranked four, but HP shipments are the only failed to increase the company, is facing serious challenges. Gartner, chief analyst for the Asia-Pacific Hardware Systems Group, ye further that the shuffle is in the direction of Asia. "PC productionThe chain has shifted to Asia a few years ago, "Ye explained:" The human cost, the market size of Asia dominate, US companies gradually abandon the low-margin hardware industry to the High-margin software and service industries. And just before HP announced the Break-up plan, Lenovo had just released its new quarterly earnings, with global PC sales up 23.1% per cent year-on-year. "The future does not rule out the continuation of mergers and acquisitions in the global market, any can promote the group's PC business growth, and the price of reasonable enterprises are not excluded as the company's acquisition target." Lenovo CEO Yang said the signal, but Lenovo did not comment on whether HP's break-up would trigger a takeover. In fact, statistics organizations such as IDC have shown in recent years that European and American PC market capacity performance is weak, brand survival is also significantly reduced, in the HP acquisition Compaq, Lenovo acquisition of IBM PC business, Acer acquisition Gateway, such as a series of mergers and acquisitions, Europe and the United States "international brand" currently only survive HP, Dell, Apple three. "While HP and Dell remain in the top two of the market, the basics of catching up behind are Asian brands, HP may opt out, and Dell is about to be overtaken by Lenovo and Acer, and the global PC brand has a clear Asian footprint." "There are industry insiders who assert that. Commercial newspaper reporter Zhang Yiwang/Wen Hansian/Tabulation
